Welcome to John Peterson's Carryin' On Website.  I perform traditional Appalachian Music and Storytelling throughout the Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN region.

Most of the instruments I play are handcrafted by traditional Appalachian craftspeople with a few of my own creations in the mix.

I have a degree in Appalachian Studies from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, where I was raised.
